5 ACTIVITIES FOR A RAINY DAY
I used to dislike cloudy and rainy days, but I started to realize that grey weather does not always have to feel bad. These are the days when life can slow down and you can make time for yourself.
I like to listen to the sound of rain when I am at home. It calms me down and reminds me that every type of weather can be beautiful if you allow it to be.
Usually, these are the days when you feel less productive, but you can make them the exact opposite.
Maybe you still don’t enjoy grey weather? Here are some cozy activities for gloomy days that may change your perspective:
1. Watch movies you’ve been putting off
This is the perfect time to finally watch some of the movies you haven’t had time for before. Create a cozy atmosphere and dive into another world.


2. Read books or magazines
This is the time to pick up a book and enjoy the smell of the pages as well as the story. It gives your eyes a break from screens and offers you peaceful, cozy moments.


3. Make coffee at home or go on a coffee date
I enjoy making coffee at home. I like how the smell spreads through the space and makes it feel homey. You can also go out on a coffee date with a friend or your partner and share some nice moments together.


4. Prepare cookies or a dish you’ve been wanting to try
When the weather is gloomy, I like to make my apartment warm and cozy. I enjoy baking, so I prepare a comforting lunch or dessert that fills the space with an inviting smell. Recently, I’ve been making muffins.

5. Do some exercise
Turn on some music and do some exercise. It will lift your mood and fill you with energy, and that’s exactly what you need on a gloomy day, right?
