IF YOU NEED HEAVEN, GO TO GREECE!
If you are in need of heaven, peace, and tranquillity for your soul, Greece is always a great choice.
Sea breeze, the sound of waves, fine sand, a smiling sun, and endless blueness—that’s quite enough for your soul to be reborn, isn’t it?
Let the meditation begin!
We headed to the destination called Pefkochori, which is located on the southeastern coast of the Kassandra Peninsula. This small, magical place is a popular tourist attraction, and there is a reason for it.
Marvellous beaches, crystal-clear seawater, and lively nightlife are the features that draw you to this place.

While enjoying the beaches, your eyes will catch the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets that will make your day even more colourful.

Undoubtedly, the most beautiful place for relaxing both on the beach and in the water was Paliouri, which is just 10 minutes from Pefkochori by car. The sand was so fine both on the beach and in the water, and there was not a single stone—not even a small one.

In the evening, you can take a walk by the seaside, where there are many cafés and restaurants with a sea view.
The most popular food in Greece that you must try is Greek gyro with tzatziki sauce. Apart from that, there is a variety of seafood that you should definitely try and won’t regret.

We also had a boat day adventure, which was another exhilarating experience. Apart from the beauty of the sea view and the sea breeze around you, the boat had the most adorable crew you could imagine. They were true gentlemen, always smiling and caring.
The boat took us to the second peninsula of Halkidiki—the Sithonia Peninsula. To be more specific, we went to the place called Toroni, another small destination like Pefkochori, where you can enjoy the turquoise sea and taste a delicious iced chocolate drink.

On our way back home, we visited the second-largest city in Greece, Thessaloniki. It is located in the northern part of the country and offers a myriad of landmarks.
The most famous one is the White Tower. It is a fortress believed to have been built by the Ottomans in the late 15th century and was once used as a prison. It is located on the waterfront and offers panoramic views of the Aegean Sea for those who climb it.

You can also visit the Church of Hagia Sophia, an important religious building.

We also passed by Aristotelous Square, located in the heart of the city. It is paved with marble tiles and surrounded by elegant neoclassical buildings that face the sea.

For the best experience, walk along the seaside, breathe in the fresh air, and admire the beauty that will fill your body and truly rejuvenate you.
