MARVELOUS SZENTENDRE, HUNGARY
As soon as you arrive in Szentendre, you will not need a map. The streets, with their magical smell, will immediately make you walk faster and faster towards kürtőskalács, also known as chimney cake—your desired destination.
Not only will the scent guide you through the sweet-smelling streets, but it will also lead you to the picturesque houses that beautify this small town in Hungary.

Szentendre is magical in every sense. The atmosphere is especially spellbinding during the Christmas season. Mulled wine with various flavours, delicious hot chocolate, and delightful cupcakes are only part of the magic.

Although it is cold in winter, you will not feel it at all, as a warm atmosphere fills every corner of this enchanting town. It is so cozy that you will feel at home.

Additional charm is brought by the beautiful Danube with its irreplaceable beauty. It is no wonder that this town, with its picturesque appearance, has attracted numerous artists.

Szentendre also abounds in a plethora of museums and galleries. We visited the Marzipan Museum.
Visiting the Marzipan Museum was a fascinating experience. I was impressed by the art created from such a material. For instance, we saw the Hungarian Parliament made from 60 kg of marzipan.

What is interesting about Szentendre is that it has a significant Serbian population. Therefore, there is a Serbian Orthodox church in the town.
This small town is full of charm and rich history—you will definitely fall for it the moment you visit.
Szentendre calls everyone who desires to feel as if they are part of a story from a book.
