IT’S HARD TO RESIST: MASHED POTATOES WITH CHICKEN WINGS!
Potatoes are always a good choice, especially mashed potatoes. This dish is perfect for those of you who don’t have much time to prepare dinner. It’s simple, and what’s more, it’s super delicious!
I love the creamy texture and how it melts in my mouth.
Mashed potatoes pair perfectly with chicken wings, so let’s explore the flavours these ingredients create!
What do you need for this dish?
- 6 large potatoes
- A pack of chicken wings (depending on how many people you’re serving)
- 2 small glasses of milk (depending on how creamy you want it)
- spices of your choice (I use salt, vegeta, oregano, curry, chili)
- oil
Preparation:
Put the potatoes in a pot, cover them with water, and cook for about one hour. Once they are soft, remove them from the water and peel off the skin.
Place them in a pan, take a potato masher, and mash them. Then add a little oil, season them, pour in the milk, and place the pan on the stove. Stir until everything is well combined and heated through.
The mashed potatoes are ready to serve.
The chicken wings are even easier to prepare. Make sure they are defrosted, wash them, drizzle with oil, season them, and bake them in the oven for about an hour at 180°C.
Keep an eye on them so they don’t burn.
The chicken wings are ready to serve.
You can garnish your dish however you like, I use mixed salad and ajvar.
Final step: enjoy the delicious flavours you’ve created!
