RICE, BUT IN A SUMMER WAY
As summer is approaching, so is my passion for experimenting with summer ingredients and creating mixes of flavours that remind me of summer days.
On today’s list of main dishes, you’ll find my summer rice bowl with steak. But that’s not the secret behind this flavour. The irresistible summer ingredient is not the meat, but a vegetable.
Can you think of any?
Yes, you might have guessed it: courgette!
Courgettes add a refined summer flavour that reminds me of the sea, the breeze, and summer vibes — at least for me.
Let’s SEA how I prepared this dish!


Ingredients:
• three ladles of rice (for two people)
• 1 steak fillet
• half a courgette
• mushrooms
• tomato sauce
Spices:
salt, vegeta, turmeric, parsley, oregano, black pepper

Preparation:
Dice the steak and place it in a pan. Let it fry for about 15 minutes.
Add the courgettes and mushrooms.
Put the rice in a bowl and rinse it well.
Add the rice to the mix.
Stir everything nicely and season the mixture.
Add the tomato sauce and let it boil for about 15 minutes, until the water evaporates and the texture becomes creamy.

You can enjoy it with white wine and fully feel the summer vibe.
